Un film de Jacques Deschamps

Le cinéaste israélien Avi Mograbi finalise une installation dans un musée, donne une master-class à de jeunes étudiants en cinéma, ou revoit chez lui certains de ses films.
Mograbi Cinéma propose le portrait d’un moraliste provocateur et ironique qui, de Comment j’ai appris à surmonter ma peur et à aimer Ariel Sharon à Z 32, brouille les codes du documentaire pour mieux capturer les « monstres » qui hantent la société israélienne.

Israeli filmmaker Avi Mograbi is creating a screen installation in a museum, teaching young students a master class in cinema, or re-viewing at home some of his own films. Mograbi Cinema offers the portrait of a provocative and ironical moralist who, from How I learned to overcome my fear and love Ariel Sharon to Z 32, has clouded the codes of documentary cinema, in order to better capture the «monsters» that haunt Israeli society.
